Internship Director

About the Role

The Internship Director will be responsible for creating further leadership opportunities for AAMPLIFY youth to engage in after completing the Social Justice Leadership Program. The Internship Director will develop and oversee AAMPLIFY’s internship program and manage the incoming AAMPLIFY interns. Internship Director will work closely with the Social Media and Social Justice Interns to support their leadership development and project goals, including creating social media content and organizing events and workshops. 

 

The Internship Director will additionally stay abreast of upcoming student leadership and internship opportunities from external community partners to be shared with our existing AAMPLIFY alumni network and on our social media platforms. 

 

If you are passionate about building leadership pipelines for high school and college-aged youth and enjoy developing and managing projects from start to finish, this role is for you. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Direct experience working with students/youth is strongly preferred. 

 

This role is a two-year commitment of 5 - 10 hours per month, including attendance at monthly board meetings. Applicants based in and/or having connections to the Bay Area are preferred. All applications will be considered until filled.
